So what happened to Zahara

Before I even begin I would like to say that there seems to be a lot of misleading and unsubstantiated news about Zahara. Also Zahara doesn’t play. She sues. Well that is according to reports that she is suing True Love magazine for defamation of character after magazine cover title Zahara Marriage, drug & selling records.

Zahara took to social media to call the headline “tasteless and misleading” and also went on to say that if they did not recall the cover she will be left with no choice but to take legal action against them.

She is engaged to Umhlobo Wenene DJ Amaza. The two are no strangers to headlines. Whether it is breakup rumours. Alcoholism rumours. Now reports are that her wedding has been put on hold due to Zahara’s hectic schedule at the moment. She estimates that her wedding might happen around August this year.

With a wedding pending she has been eating healthier and excising. She apparently went from a size 38 to a size 32. Looking good.

She left TS Records in December. It’s reported that the split was a mutual one and she has started her own recording label believed to be called Zahara Army. She is also working on a partnership with Universal Records.

Zahara is getting her own reality show according to TimesLive exclusive article. There aren’t many details at the moment however it is said that she is working with Ferguson Films.

Then there have been reports as of late about Zahara’s finances. There are reports that she has failed to pay her monthly instalments for her Audi A5 vehicle and that is has been repossessed.

Then there was a report that she went to a shisa nyama and left without paying her bill. She responded by saying “Maybe there is a just a vendetta against me. I don’t know why people say such things about me.”

Take those reports with a pinch of salt. On to more exciting news. She has revealed that she is in studio recording her next album. If her past 3 studio albums are anything to go by then this one is going to be a hit train as well.
