Those of us conceived in the late 80’s and mid nineties would be comfortable with the team that is Pearl Modiadie and Lee-Roy Wright – two faces who were a piece of the prior harvest of presenters on eTV’s afternoon youth slot, Craz-e.
In spite of the fact that Wright and Modiadie worked nearby the likes of Gillian Hughes, Babalwa Rasane, Kriya Gangiah, and Morena ‘Mo’ Sefatsa, the match formed an unbreakable bond that lone appears to have become more grounded throughout the years.
There are huge amounts of photographs that were taken amid the term of their friendship which started back when Modiadie was an all out hip-hop dancer who rocked a semi grunge/punk-rock look – not overlooking she passed by the moniker “The Black Pearl.”
The duo got their begin not long after the Craz-e graduated class who all (sooner or later) inevitably left the show to advance their vocations in media.
Indeed, Craz-e has such a significant number of fascinating graduated class that a considerable lot of us had disregarded. Individuals like Pabi Moloi, Da Les, Lalla Hirayama, Salamina Mosese, Stephina Zwane, McGayver, Caitlin Fox, Relebogile Mabotja, Gile Motshwane, Muso Sefatsa, Zandile Msutwana and Kim Engelbrecht.
Numerous Craz-e moderators have traveled every which way yet none have kept up a fellowship very like these two. Look at a couple of their return pics:
It is believed that if your friendship makes it past the seven-year mark, it will last a lifetime, so here’s to another few decades for Pearl and Lee-roy.
