US Rapper Tyga has been hit with a warrant for his arrest. This comes after he failed to show up for a court hearing. As indicated by TMZ, Tyga’s troubles begun in 2015 when a lawsuit was documented by one of Tyga’s fans, Shyanne Riekena, after a light tower toppled over and struck her on the head during one of the rappers shows in Michigan. The injured fan was awarded $236 000 (R2.8 million) for her wounds.
However, the Boss Up rapper, who is known for overdoing it on gifts, presently can’t seem to pay the bill. This only made things worse and Shyanne recorded more legal documents, with Daily Mail announcing the cost was pushed up to more than $250 000 (R3 million).
This isn’t the first time Tyga has been blamed for not paying his debts ,hotnewhiphop.com reports. In October a year ago his previous business associate, Chuon Guen Lee,claimed the rapper was hiding around $2 million (R24 million) in shell companies to avoid paying his dues.
Chuon and Tyga worked together on his Last Kings clothing brand, but Tyga clearly ditched the company and opened a different line, Egypt Kings, with another business associate.
