Metro FM presenters Lerato Kganyago and Dineo Ranaka have allegedly given the station an ultimatum to give them separate slots or lose them. As far back as the ladies have been combined on their Metro FM show, there have been continuous gossipy tidbits that the personalities don’t get along.
Earlier last year, Drum Magazine reported that the two radio personalities don’t get along and that there’s tension between them. A source allegedly told the weekly publication that the associates “are having clashes because both are strong personalities”. However, Lerato put the gossipy tidbits to rest, she disclosed to Anele Mdoda on Real Talk with Anele that when the story turned out, both she and Dineo rolled their eyes. After months of working together, the rumours have resurfaced again.
As per sources this comes after Kganyago and Ranaka, who co-host The Bridge on weekdays between 10am and noon, fought on a few events about the running of the show.
Kganyago and Ranaka could not be reached for comment at the time of going to press to confirm their clash of egos.
SABC spokesman Kaizer Kganyago downplayed the squabble and the presenter s’ ultimatum to the station.
